Aubree
After losing my husband, life was all about taking care of my kids and trying to remain afloat.
Brody and Hayden crashed into my life with the force of an entire ocean.
Five years is a long time to be alone.
Now, I have not one but two sexy and successful men to drown in.
But can I handle the desires, passions, and love they both deserve?

Plus, two men mean double the heartache.
And my heart? It’s already mended haphazardly, cracked in multiple places from my loss.
Falling for them could be a disaster.
Choosing between them would be impossible.

But the heart wants what it wants.
And despite my better judgment, I want them both.
Oh, and did I mention that they’re best friends—and want to share me?
Things just got a lot more complicated…

Review:

I know going into a Nikki Ash book that I’m going to enjoy it and this book continued that trend. What The Heart Wants is a perfect “Why Chose” romance. Bree is a widowed single mother who meets and starts to fall for two different men… who happen to be best friends. I wasn’t expecting the emotional punch that this book delivered. Bree is finally getting back into dating and she immediately falls for two guys, who are both perfect in different ways. Brody and Hayden are both sexy and basically perfect for her and when they finally meet together, she’s presented with a “Why Chose” option. Which just might be the fantasy. I’ll admit that I don’t read a ton of MFM for the main reason that I prefer all three people to be in a relationship together. Hayden and Brody do have a sexual past and there are hints that it may continue in the context of their relationship with Bree. So while not 100% MMF, it did work for me. Overall, Nikki Ash’s writing style makes this a quick and easy read with a great combination of sensuality and emotional heart.
