The Legal Affair

The Legal Affair

by Nisha Sharma

Description

Rajneet Hothi built her empire with sweat, blood, and information. She knows everything there is to know about Ajay Singh, the future CEO of Bharat, Inc., as well as how crucial he is in securing her future. But she didn’t expect the passion that burst between them the first time they went head-to-head. She’d never felt anything like it before, especially during her marriage to her soon-to-be-ex-husband. When her company is blamed for her ex’s dirty dealings with Bharat, she’s forced to prove that Ajay is no match for her in the art of business or seduction.

Ajay shouldn’t trust Raj or her company. He’s on the verge of losing everything his family has worked to achieve, but he can’t stop thinking about the breathtaking way Raj opens her mind, body and heart to him. Throwing his infamous caution to the wind, he tempts the gorgeous CEO into his bedroom and boardroom. He soon realizes he wants Raj by his side and he’s willing to fight the people he’s always protected to be with her.

When Raj and Ajay discover the source behind Bharat’s leak, they must trust each other and work together to defy the odds and save the Singh legacy.

Review

I adored the first book in the Singh Family series and I knew I was going to love Ajay and Raj’s book. Ajay is Hem’s brother and Raj is Mina’s best friend and their interactions in the previous book, while brief, laid the foundation for this story. Raj has a marriage of convenience that is ending at the beginning of the book and she is looking to make changes in both her business and personal life. Ajay is the future CEO of Bharat, his family business, but that is jeopardy by both internal and outside forces. When they come together, the chemistry is explosive!

Nisha Sharma has done such an amazing job of crafting believable, flawed, and still amazingly describable characters in The Legal Affair. Raj is especially my favorite. She is the tough as nails CEO who built her business from the ground up, and seems to have a heart of ice. However, underneath that tough exterior is a woman who has been burned by her family in the past and now her soon to be ex husband. She doesn’t want to be vulnerable to Ajay but he slowly strips off her layers. Plus who can’t help but love a heroine who is tough and yet has a soft side for dogs! Ajay portrays the confident business man on the outside, but inside is concerned that he is making the wrong choices for his family business. The problems with Bharat have shaken Ajay’s confidence in himself and I loved watching Raj support him through that. In addition to all the workplace drama, this book is so freaking sexy! Both Raj and Ajay know what they want in the bedroom and those scenes are steam up the screen of my Kindle hot!

I loved this story and Nisha left me desperately waiting for the final book in the trilogy by dropping hints about the third brother, Zail and his heroine. Overall, I highly recommend The Legal Affair! Check it out now and consider ordering it from an indie bookstore!
