One of my favorite things in the world is book-signings. There’s just something so fun about a chance to talk to authors about books, both theirs and other books too. I used to be nervous about going to book-signings for authors I hadn’t read but I quickly learned that authors just appreciate you showing up and having an interest in their books. They’re happy to just chat about their books. Maybe I’ve just been lucky with the authors I’ve meet and the genre I read but I’ve never had a bad experience at a book-signing.

To my luck, a local Barnes & Noble – Menlo Park, NJ, was hosting a Romance author signing on February 9th! Being me, I planned my weekend around going and hanging out with the authors (and my former Barnes & Noble coworker!). I may have had zero self-control and bought far more books than I intended but there are worse spending habits to have! I had an excellent time and so happy that a local Barnes and Noble is hosting romance events!
