Author Rec: Kristen Ashley

Kristen Ashley. That name evokes the most alpha of heroes and the most bad-ass of heroines. Her books are almost always 500+ pages of pure craziness and heart. By the end of her books, you are so totally invested in her characters that you feel like they’re your best friends. I actually reread Rock Chick Beginnings last night on impulse. Kristen does not shy away from putting her characters through hell and back but they always come out the other side stronger. Another strength of Kristen Ashley is her world creating. Her Fantasyland series is crazy vivid and detailed. Even her contemporary worlds are beautiful crafted with supporting characters just as interesting as the main characters. Plus her contemporary series have enjoyable crossovers which is always an enjoyable Easter-egg. Honestly, I’ve only been reading her books a little over two years and I can’t believe how much I’ve been missing out. I find myself randomly picking up her books for a reread when nothing else is appealing to me. And I’ve been listening her audiobooks on and off as well. I was lucky enough to meet and worship at the feet of Kristen Ashley at Apollycon 2018!
