Alyssa Cole is an author I discovered in my quest for more diverse romance over the past year. I was lucky enough to attend a couple panels that she was on. She did an event with Alisha Rai at the Word Bookstore in Jersey City last year. This year, she attended a Romance and Diversity panel at The Strand Bookstore in NYC which I just adored. Her historical books pack a major feels punch and her heroine are beautifully crafted. Her contemporary romances are quite simply, a joy. They are lovely, humorous, and still address serious issues in today’s world. I am anxiously awaiting the next books in both her Reluctant Royals and her The Loyal League series!
