Author Rec: Alisha Rai

Alisha Rai is an utter gem. There, the truth is out. I completely adore her work. Her books are steamy, adorable, and full of diverse and kick-ass heroines and hot af heroes! In addition to her amazing work, she’s an excellent speaker and I was lucky enough to attend a discussion by her at RT 2017. I believe the discussion was about heroines and she, Sonali Dev, and HelenKay Dimon gushes about Lisa Kleypas’ Sara Fielding during the panel. I was also lucky enough to attend a signing/discussion between her and Alyssa Cole in Jersey City last year. As for her books, I started reading Alisha with her Bedroom Games series which a fun, erotic reunion story. After that, I delved into her Pleasure Series and fell in love with her MFM Glutton for Pleasure! Continuing with her erotic books, you can’t skip A Gentleman in the Street. Akira was introduced in the Bedroom Games series and I loved that she got a book. She is a standout heroine and the relationship between her and Jacob steams up the windows! Honestly, you can’t go wrong with any Alisha Rai book.
