Review: Kristen Callihan usually hits it out of the park with her books and The Hot Shot is no exception! Finn and Chess have excellent chemistry and their relationship progresses from friends to roommates to much, much more. Once they hit the roommate stage, it is clear that Finn wants more from their relationship but he respects Chess and her hesitation. Both have personal issues from their past to overcome and with the support of each other, they work towards a future together. This book runs parallel to The Game Plan and does have some plot spoilers from that book. However, it could just as easily be read as a standalone. Overall, I really enjoyed this book and can’t wait for Kristen Callihan’s next book!
